PINK PANDA SOUTHEAST ASIAN DINER

Last week, I tried the newest restaurant of one of my fave food bloggers, Erwan Heussaff, Pink Panda, located at the ground floor of Y2 Residence Hotel which is also a new hotel in Makati.

The place has a masculine feel with a touch of cuteness.

I ordered for their Crab Mie Goreng. It's egg noodles with crab meat, sambal, kecap manis or Indonesian sauce, veggies and scrambled eggs. I can say that just like Ramen Burger as shown in this post, it's also love at first bite :D It's just soooo good! I love how the smokey flavor of this dish blends perfectly with the sweetness of it's sauce and the price of 285php is so reasonable because it can be shared by two to three persons. It definitely deserves a score of 5 out of 5 from me. Thank goodness to their friendly staff as well for they make this dish less spicy for me. 

For my drink, I opted to try their Pink Panty which is priced at 110php, very catchy name, right? :D According to their staff, this is one of their best sellers. It's a mix of raspberry and lime so I decided to give it a try. I would give this a score of 4 out of 5 though because it's not flavorful enough.

I really love my experience with Pink Panda, it's ambience and the food is really good for very reasonable prices.

HAPPY - PHARRELL WILLIAMS

This song from Pharrell Williams was part of the soundtrack of Despricable Me 2, though the movie was not really new, it was a only a couple of weeks when this song was played on the radio. I fell in love with the beat the first time I heard it, but couldn't get the time to research about it but when I met my cousin yesterday, I was really surprised when he told me about the song, what is it about and  suggested to feature it here in my blog, good thing we kinda have the same taste when it comes to music. The moment he told me about the title, I already knew that this song is definitely blog worthy, aside from the fact that you really won't be able to stop yourself from dancing with it, the song just screams good vibes, and reminds us to  still choose to be happy no matter what life throws us, as what this part of the lyric says,

AZUMI BOUTIQUE HOTEL

Azumi Boutique Hotel is the newest 3 star hotel in my second home which is Alabang Muntinlupa, City. I learned about it through instagram, Preview Magazine was invited to its grand opening last Jan 23rd, as shown here and since it's only around 10 minute drive away from where I work, I dropped by after my shift to check it out. As we all know, for newly opened hotels, their intoductory rates are so affordable, so I tried my luck to see if I will be able to reserve a room for me.

How I wish that we could also have this sandal display in our garden at home :D

When I went there, they're uber friendly staff showed me their sample rooms, from standard to superior, they were supposed to show me the Penthouse as well but unfortunately the staff member showing me around doesn't have have the keys for it. All the rooms that I saw were almost identical, they just really differ in size, so being the practical that I am, sometmes :D I tried checking in on one of their standard rooms, anyway I'll only stay there overnight and it's only me, myself and I that will be checking in so I don't really need a huge room.

This was the room that I got. I can say that it's worth every penny, it was really clean and spacious enough for me, I think three people can fit in here.

And to my favorite part, which is eating :D every guests will be given a breakfast stub to be presented at Cafe Romulo, which is in ground floor of the hotel. You can choose to either have a Filipino or American themed breakfast. Since I'm not really a fan of rice, I opted for the American one.

For someone with really big appetite, I don't think this is enough :D but it was really good though. A cup of coffee with milk was also served along with it.

A healthy dessert was also served.

There's a free use of the infinity pool at the Penthouse, but since I'm not with anyone I just enjoyed the view.

There's also a nail spa at the ground floor.

I really loved my experience with Azumi. I hope to have a grand staycation there in the future or maybe before April ends because according to their staff, their introductory rates has a tentative schedule of until April 2014.
